An idea I just thought up regarding new members.

I just had this wild idea pop into my head about recruiting new members to here.

What if each active EF member all joined the same forum, and discuss things on it. If we all join in on some discussions we are bound to get a few people to like us and we may be able to drag them back here. Afterall since so many members of this form would be on it we are basically showing the people of that message board the kind of community and personality that we have here.

I actually did join a 2nd forum last week and it is a huge site. It is actually bigger than I would ever prefer as it would be so much to keep up with. I am hoping to bring people back here, it is an anime forum so i'm always up for some more anime threads if I can drag anyone here.

I joined a FFXIII forum not too long ago lol. I've made a friend or two so i could always try and bring some over

Doesn't sound too good an idea. I doubt other forums may like people trying to drag members away from other forums, especially if you do the advertising wrong, like the last time. >.>

Personally let people come and go as they like. Affiliation program would be nice but eh. That sucks ass, gotta be active on their forum while they stay active on yours to keep the affiliation bound by some invisible contract of guilt, and that always ends up getting boring.

That is always possible, but this forum has over 50,000 members so losing 1 or 2 won;t hurt. I haven't been on it lately tho, it just moves too fast for me.

Anyway it was just an idea as no new members have come in a long time.

I'll probably have at least one more member during winter break, but she's kinda busy right now. She's already registered, but ran into some problems with her account.

As for your idea, I kinda tried that with Suikox, but bitches were lazy. It would really depend on which forum, and it's population, so I'm hesitant to say yes or no to the idea, really.

Who says we need new members. We don't Need new members. We still have a handful of active people for now. You just Want new members.

And with this being an anime forum, especially 50,000 people as you've put it. I'd be damn hesitant because majority of most anime forums most likely Will have the wrong people EF doesn't need in the first place. I'd rather have someone from a small forum like another EF come over then who knows what from a big place like GW / Gaia.
