Yet another fucked up forum fest. Joined the castlevania dungeon forums because heck, I like castlevania. First day i was there all was well...posted my art, people seemed to like it alot+ had some good conversations with some hard core old school gamers.

Then lo and behold jerk of wonder comes along. Yeah, that's his real alias not just me flaming him. Anyway he slams art I posted later calling me everything from a pedophliac to my art looking like it was done by a 5 year old. For awhile I take it,afterall I've been slammed by the master of flames FOD. (could jerk of wonder be fod? hmmm who knows.)

However then people tried siding with him and before I knew it everyone said my art was bad+ it was even less significant because it was not directly castlevania fan art. The criticisms about anatomy and shading I can take but being a pedophliac? Damn that pisses me off. I tried explaining some of the later art I posted were roughs not the finished products but people still treated them as if they were the rosseta stone by which they can measure my full talent.

So, I sorta feel like this world is a rotten place filled with malcontent spoiled assholes that think anything that defies realism is crap. Also got the usaul "your art portrays women as hos" line even though in castlevania art it has shown nudity in and out of game.

Yeah, I know shouldn't let what goes on in a forum effect me. Just been one of those days nothing has gone right.

Heh....Don't get me wrong man. Not knocking the site it's well done. But alot of the ppl there have band wagon syndrome. There are good ones there though. Another thing they berated me for was flaming Jerk of wonder back. So it pretty much is a statement it's ok for veterans to flame noobs but noobs can't defend themselves.

As for the art, yeah there is art better then mine there but I hated the fact that the first time I posted it almost 100% of the feedback was good(Accept Green lantern that said he didn't approve of my scantily clad ladies which is ok for him to have that opinion) then just because a flame happy prick came along and gave my threads a 0 rating and frazed me almost all the previous positive opinions changed.

Well , Apparently though I haven't done much I already am in deep. Guess it's better just not to run with a fan site...most ppl are elitist pigs in such places. I'll miss the good ppl there but it's just not worth the hassle. The point of a forum is to have fun and if you're not, there's no point in it. Even during crappy times I've had here there was always a redeemable quality about ef that kept me coming back. Most places don't have the same shine.

If you do go read all the related threads before passing judgement on me OR the others involved. Forum wars are kinda pointless so I suggest another id.

Well to be honest of all my pieces done lately my recent vamp girl one is the most flawed. I didn't intend it to be that way and I worked hard on it a whole week but some stuff still came out looking choppy and jaggy. I wouldn't have minded simple criticism but saying I'm a pedophile and a 5 yr old can do better goes a bit too far. Still the fiasco is over so it's back to buisness as usaul. lol. As I understand it Jerk of wonder got a 3 day band by a mod that observed what truly happened, still it was weird how people seemed to stand by him over me when he started the whole nasty mess to begin with. Yeah this thread has branched into many things. It started with me whining about a forum,evolved into gundam and I talking about how he got banned from the art section in game winners (which is idiotic, not his fault ppl spammed his art threads), and then went back to FOD. lol. We also talked about the Deity a bit and his wonderful ego but it was more in fun jest just to see if it'd get him to participate in some light hearted heckling. It's ok though Lycanthroat . Can't really take stuff seriously in gates of hell anyway. As for The Kal wanting to become a mod fiasco he apologized for trying to coerce Johnny so as dumb as his actions were at least Kal has tried making amends.
