I have 100% completion (but of course, lol), $999,999,999 (went to vigilante mission level 300 twice), and a rating of 225000 (Capo).

I don't own Vice City, but I rented it quite a bit when it came out. I especially liked the Katana and the V Rock station. good ol' 80s metal.

Yeah, overall it was. Although GTA3 had much more elevation, such as cliffs, hills, etc. VC was more or less flat =/

What Happens When You Get All The Hidden Packages?

you get $1000000, and the Hunter helicopter appears in the Military base. Also, if you've already beaten the game, then the hunter appears on the helipad in Ocean Beach too.

Hunter Helicopter? I Thought It Was Brown Thunder.

The difference between Brown Thunder and other Vigilante missions is simple:

After each level of brown thunder, your heli recovers some health. It can even recover health beyond 100%. When i get to Brown Thunder levels of 100+, my heli sometimes has more than 1000% health than normal.

Also, i prefer it because you can listen to radio stations in the heli, as opposed to the police band you have to hear in cop cars, tanks, etc.

Yes it does. It has twin missile launchers that can be fired with the O button. IT also has a vulcan cannon that is fired w/ the R1 button.

Is It Unlimited Ammo?!? Or Do You Have To Find It?

The Hunter has unlimited ammo, and it never has to be reloaded. The only problem is that the gun is inneficient except when you're in close, and the missiles are somewhat difficult to use (in terms of hitting the target). Also, if you are caught in the missile's explosion, it'll pretty much destroy the chopper =/

Yes. They respawn there infinitely.

Then you're livin' the life of V Rock.

My brother got the game a few months ago, we're still playing the game to death. I rate it 8/10.

I'm not sure which is better to be honest.

Vice has the bikes, helis and skimmer..... and a main character who has a name and talks.
Liberty had the hills and the completely different layouts on each island and it was really good.... oh and the missions were a lot harder and seemed to have more to them... oh and all the gangs except Yakuza (even though you killed their boss!) hate you, Vice only has the haitians hate you, and maybe the P.I.G.S (not a slur on the cops btw)

If my copy of GTA3 actually worked then I would play that more than Vice, but it is glitched to hell and back so i can't...



oh and the machine/gattling/woteva you wanna call it, gun on the front of the Hunter locks on to targets :D


Stats: 100% a few times, best = 22hrs completion, money maxed out, rating of Right Hand Man (not sure how many points)

Another thing in VC was being able to bail out of cars. I played 3 after VC, so i died many a time thinking i could do that...
