3 years...but it was a long distance affair. my girl at the time was from australia and we were making plans to have her come here to live...ubfortunately it fell through not because we didn't love each other(we are still close friends though i haven't heard from her in awhile.) but because we just didn't have the money or the resources. still i count myself as fortunate because i learned alot about relationships and love through the experience.
