Which do you think an army needs the most of to be victorious.

Nothing in between... pick one or the other.

POWER. Lots of it. If an army shoots a few hundred cannons on a big crowd of soldiers, it's not like mobility will do all that good in some cramped up group.

he didnt define power tho.

Power could mean a bunch of indians on elephants with rifles opposed to a small gureilla unit in which case mobility will win out easy.

And id still say mobility anyway

Mobility, I can always use it to out run power, though power may get lucky and catch me, it will most likely will have spend itself in the chase.

I'm going with Mobility. I'm all for power but what is the use in power if you're say slow or something, if it's one over the other then we're talking slow and powerful or fast and "weak", right?
Although being fast is a strength! If you can out-run your enemy, chances are they will give chase and you will be able to wear them down.

Power is difficult to make work, but can defeat many times it's own power. One must remember that the mission and objective have a lot to do with it as well, as well as terrain and proportions.

These questions have so many variables - but I would have to side with mobility if only because it's proven more effective in the past.

Mobility. Without mobility, power will fail. But mobility without power can win, although it'd take a lot of time.

It is very easy to end up having a defiency of power. There is only so much power that can be dished out, but with mobility it is very easy to adapt and be versatile to many things and situations.

Mobility, power means nothing if there is nothing to use it on. Some good examples are Vietnam and the current crap in Iraq, we ran from Vietnam in the end and are losing thousands of lives currently in Iraq. The mobility of the Vietnamese and the Iraq freedom fighters prevents the power of the US from even finding them.

mobility easyly, in war it may seem better to have more firepower but in reality I think it would be better to move, act, shoot (and whatever else) faster.
