Old games

what do you do when a system and/or video games become outdated? Do you keep em? Sell em so you can buy newer stuff. or what?

yah i keep em, ive probably..actually i havent sold a game yet but i pawned off a megadrive to my nextdoor neighbours for 3x what i paid for it ^_^ and traded in a gbc for a gba. So really i keep em.

i have givin 4 old school FF games way (to my best friend in NC) cause that lazy ass couldnt get em him self so every B-day id give him a old FF game lol..other then that i keep them...and when i give one away i always get another copy ^_^ lol
but hell yeah i keep them, i see on Ebay people buying old games for way to much money..so i kinda hope that in 5 or 10 years if/when i do want to sell them i get alot for them lmao

Star Wars on NES, and Beavis and Butthead on SNES are perfect examples of terrible games that I still have.

the only games i've ever sold were LOTR: Two Towers for PS2, and Spyro the dragon for PS2. Both = ultracrap.

OTher than that, i've kept literally every single game and such i ever had. The only ways i've ever lost anything is if i ..well...lost it, or if something was stolen. I also ave my cousin rob a game once, i think.

i give em away if someone wants them bad enough but if i like the game or system i keep it i sell alot though so i can get new games

Lol, a lot of my older PS1 games are all scratched up, and dont work. When that happens, i throw em away.

i only have one disk that doesnt work, other then that all of my disks stay very nice.. im a neat freak though, but i still have that FF7 2nd disk that doesnt work ( got the game again though)

I STILL dont have a working copy of FF7...The one i used to have got lost in arizona, and my recent one's disc 3 for cracked. And then, disc 1 got some sort of gummy candy on it >_>

i dont have a workin copy for ff7 or ff8 anymore...i need to save up and get more

when my discs don't work due to scratches or stuff on them (which rarely happens) I take them to a used game store to have them buffed out.

Nah, my discs were REALLY scratched up. Also, when they stopped working, i usually broke em out of furstration >_<

unless the scratch goes all the way through to the other side of the disc it can usually be fixed in a good buffer.

I do too. Well there were a couple of exceptions of games I've sold. All of my PS1 games still work and are in excellent condition. I'm such a neat freak when it comes to my games.

me too.. im a neat freak when it comes to anything though...

the only gamnes io ever sold was because i got the real game and sold the greatest hits... i never keep GH i dont like em, so i get it to play the game but when i find the real one i buy it...

other then the few GH i sold, i have given a few FF games to my friend.. and without that, i'd still have every game i've ever owned ^_^

that and my big bro just told me a few days ago that he lost my FF1 NES......

i'll get it back though
