Who here played Spyro the Dragon on PS1?

I thought they were some of the bet games ever. As far as platformers go, they have excellent quality, and nearly flawless gameplay (there can be a couple of problems here or there, but it happens).

My favorite was Spyro 3 though. 1 and 2 were good, but 3 was the culmination of it all. The PS2/GBA spyro games sucked, IMO.

never picked it up againAw, c'mon!! Those were some of the best games ever!!! You really should try them again sometime. And if not 1, then definitely 2, or better yet, 3.

He probly just doesnt like them. I dont like sports games, and its because they just dont interest me.

ive played spyro 1...i didnt like it that much so i never played the others

i dont like platformers because its to much of a run around, collect powerups, run around kill a few things end the game type cliche, theres nothing interesting in it for me. See with rpgs theres the story and characters, with strategy theres the constant thinking and asswhooping that gets handed out, you kinda feel like you want vengance after losing in a record time of 2mins 10 seconds. Racing..well even tho i suck at it its great to turn around go backwards thru the course and smash head on into your m8 whos comming first. So yes i see nothing that can be interesting in platformers.

i got spyro 1 for my birthday a few years ago and played it for 3 hours, beat it, sold it, never have played it or had any intention to play any other spyro game every again
