I believe in lust at first sight... there are plenty of guys that have captivated my imagination upon seeing them. But love for me is very cerebal, and I cannot change that. They have to have a spark behind their looks that stimulates me intellectually as well as physically, and that is very hard to find out on looks alone. It' s the hardest part, finding the real personality behind the eyes.

Why must it be sight, that is a big problem to me. To judge the idea of falling in love on just one of the 5 senses is stupid and inhibiting.

I call my Liesel up, despite how much she hates the phone, just to hear her voice. That's what drew my attention, the sound of her voice. Still today I can run what she has said in my mind whenever I feel low, she makes me feel better.

#1. yes i believe in love at first sight. but that only goes so far...i wont get into it

#2. i dont think that there is one person out there for everyone. i think that if you find the "right one" it still might not work out being anything can happen, and one of the 2 could fall out of love at any time..with that i think that they both being in love with the "right one" and lost...would still have another change of love

you could say that if you find the right one and it doesnt work then maybe it wasnt the "right one"?...

IMO that isnt true, i think that it would have been the "right one" for that time...and now you have to find the new "right one"

i believe there was a study done about this and it proved that it did infact happen due to chemical responses in the individual thus proving love at first site as a true theory.

I however see it as a load of bs ^_^

I tend to look at it more like define what love is, you cant honestly do that so why bother trying to do so. If you supposedly love someone at first site you are obviously attracted to their physical being which would mean what part of your body are you thinking about? thats right mini me speaks yet again.

I prefer not to base things on looks alone, after all whats the point of having a pretty face if it speaks at the level of a preschooler.

I dont base it solely on looks, OR intelligence. IF she's hot as hell, but an idiot, i wouldnt wanna be with her. and by the same token, if she's the smartest and most caring woman on the planet, but ugly as fu*k, i wouldnt want to be with her either.

As for soul mates, i don't beleive everyone has just one person they're meant to be with. I think there are several people out there who are your "potential" soul mates. And then, when you find one of them, there's love.

But, thats just my opinion of it all...

Well most of you are under the age of 25, it's called patience. Hell I look at some old couples to day that have been together for 60 years so what does that say.

Most people these days don't know what they are looking for and will put finding love on the bottom of their list for finding a mate or someone "special" when really all they want is someone to come home to at the end of the day. You are not going to find what you aren't looking for, you'll just over look it. Stupid cynics.
