I was browsing through different things on ebay and I ran across this. apparantly Star Ocean is an anime. I may buy this.

from what I hear you need to have played the game or the anime just sucks

I've known about it for a long time. And wanted to get it but uh i was too lazy to order it. LOL There are, I think a few new enemies in the anime that aren't in the game.

There's also an anime for Arc the Lad which I really want.

It's a bit the same, I think. Half half i guess. For SO2 anyway.

Same for Arc the Lad i think.>> uh it doesn't matter much. It's still cool.

Well the anime was based on the manga which was written by Mayumi Azuma who based the manga on the game so I am guessing so

there is also a Suikoden anime that came out many years ago, ask lades about it if you like, I belive he has it

I wouldnt mind a copy of the SO anime myself...it sounds cool.

Oh god no no no no wait for the dubbed if it ever gets dubbed im telling you.

Star Ocean EX ends just before the Nedian saga of the game, at least thats all ive seen of it in 2 box sets and the subtitles in japanese are of the bootlegged quality. Its based entirely off the game with all the main characters in it and it follows from Claudes perspective (therefore you see Dias, Opera, Ernest and optional characters) But they screw up the names a few times so the characters get renamed about 5 times during the course of the anime.

As for the suikoden anime i sware there has to be more then that one movie cuz that just downright blows.
