Ok, I've noticed that recently, a lot of newer members seem to be upset with Laggy for being a "power-mad" admin who polices spam like a nazi. Well, that isn't true. He may have been harder on spam recently than we usually are, but thats because of how much spam Altima and Jedi_Kal did the past few days. They purposely ran threads off-track, they abused the CT Hangman for posts, and Altima even blatantly defied the staff (not just laggy, but everyone), by saying something along the lines of "I'm gonna continue spamming whether you tell me to stop or not."

Those things considered, I don't see how anyone can accuse Laggy of abusing his position to boss around others. He's been going after Kal and Altima because they'be been spamming a LOT. More than we usually get, and more purposefully too.

I can't speak for the rest of the staff, but I stand behind Laggy on this issue. He's been a great admin and an even greater member in general. And he's handled the recent events well. Even I, who usually takes the side of the member, agree that Kal and Altima went too far, especially Altima with his direct defiance of the staff.

For those of you who think Laggy is a power-mad admin who looks to warn people and use his power to boss them around, I can tell you that if that WERE the case, I'd have fired Laggy a long time ago.

I've always thought laggy was really cool. I mean as far as I can tell he's never been too tough on spam. He's always been as fair as anyone else about things of this nature. Laggys a cool cat, and anyone who says otherwise can speak with the M-4 sitting next to me.

Eddie got promoted to Administrator for a reason. If we thought that he'd abuse his powers he would have never made it in the first place. Everything he's done since his promotion has been with the full consent of Johnny and I.

Laggy always will have my support, 100%, as well as any other staff member when they are right. And from what I've seen Laggy hasn't done anything but what needs to be done.

I know this is an old thread but I just now saw it. I'll always have your back Laggy. I agree with how you handled the situation. I'm sorry I haven't been able to get on as much the past couple of weeks. It's usually just a little while in the morning and then that's it.>_< I hope I can start signing on more and help you out more than I have been.^_^ I know its an old thread but I wanted to say something..lol
