Do you think Star Ocean 3 will be as good or better than Star Ocean 2?

I paired up Claude/Precis and Ashton/Rena. I dunno, despite all the subtle hints (and not so subtle ones...) Ashton and precis just didnt seem like they belonged together, whereas she and claude make a great couple, IMO. I only did Ashton/Rena cuz they were the other two memebers in my active party, lol. I also did Leon/Celine, and Chisato/Noel.

But yeah, i think SO3'll be just as good, if not better. As l,ong as they keep the winning elements from SO2 (e.g. everything), it'll be good.

the version Kenny is talking about is the directors cut. I read that it will be the only version released in the US... which is good, because it has all the extras and a few bonus dungeons.

I don't think it's just for the US...but let's hope the game + directors cut = something LESS than $60.

The director's cut is more or less a bonus...but most store thend to add 10, 20 or so bucks to the original price.

*gags* id rather keep my ps2 at a 100% non freked up dvd drive thak you very much.

Every person who has had a chip put in their ps2 has had dvd drive problems and have had to get it either removed and fixed or pawned it off to some unlucky bum.

In other words ive only chipped my psx cuz its groovy ^_^

yeah its as good if not WAY better then SO2...i liked 2 though, but had to look it up to remember it lol..and i remember i played it and beat it 6 times, and out of 6 i only saw 3 endings............

I like SO3, but i also liked SO2. I prefer SO2 item creation over SO3s. SO3's battle system is an improvement though, although I don't care for how battle techs are used.

All in all, its better and worse.

And I've been trying to find the Ancient Book treasures in SO3. I've found 3 so far, but I'm lost as to the others =/

*cries* Disgaea doesn't work.. All I get is the message "Disc Read Error". I got a refund and the people said its because its a blue disc. Apparently in a PS2 there are two lasers, one reads blue and one reads silver.. Apparently the blue one in mine is faulty >_< So I either get my PS2 fixed or no Disgaea for me...
