I do to an extent. I don't really think it's possible to summon demons to do your bidding or anything like that (though it would be cool), but I do think that channeling spiritual energy, being a form of magic, is possible.

Yeah I believe in it but I don't think it's possible to do the things that they do in games or in the movies.

I believe in magic like I believe in prayer. **** happens; it's just a personal, psychological thing. I haven't had any personal experiences with either, though *picks up Book of Shadows* (such thing exists... I own one)

Magic, such as summoning and such, no. Using your will to alter events, to a degree yes, The average human uses only 10% of their brain capacity, the other 90% has to do something and that is the cause of "magic"

Yeah, the other 90% would, and can, produce various psychic effects and the like

Yeah, but Magic doesn't axist as long as we don't use that other 90%, so until we do... but WHEN we do, just imagine!

Most of the time you don't even realize that you are using the 90%, every time you have a thought you are broadcasting it, hence ESP.

Yeah, but that other 90% wouldnt be magic like in video games, or forms of demonic magic (like a pact with the devil), merely psychic powers and the like. And psychic powers arent really "magic".

Yea, but where is the line between "magic" and "psychic powers", for me its kinda blurry

I wish there was magic, but I can't beileve in it. Science is far too overpowering for magic to be real.

well, technically, "Magic" is making a pact with some sort of evil or demonic force, such as a demon, the devil, etc, whereas psychic powers are merely innate attributes people possess with their mind, whether or not they can effectively wield them.

Magic could also be a changing of the "laws" of nature or physics
And I find the idea that a human could match wits with a demon and survive highly unlikely.

Hmm . . . Maybe the game creaters use the other 90% of thie r brains to make games with magic in it! HAHAHA, ... just a thought o.o

Somehow i doubt a lot of video game characters use 10% of their brain, much less all 100%...

it's a contradiction to say one does not believe in magic on the basis science is overpowering because all magic is is unproven science. today we live with many marvels that ppl from the dark ages would consider "magical". to me it's completly feasible there is a life energy. biology proves this as a matter of fact. electrons, neutrons, and protons all course through animals and plants helping them grow and evolve. from a certain point of view genetic manipulation is a kind of magic as is alchemy because you are manipulating something to change. all magic means is taking life energy and using it to bring about results whether positive or negative. it is feasible that since there is a greater life energy it is possible to control it through sheer willpower alone. most ppl only use a certain percentage of their brain...supposedly what we don't use was the part of our minds capable of telekinesis, telapathy, forsight ,and heightened senses. ppl delving into magic or the development of chi practice excercises which strengthen these parts of the mind to do amazing things. my friend terry who was raised shaolin was very good at using chi...without even touching me he could project great power outward and draw it into himself. those that think martial arts is merely a physical excercise miss out on it's deeper roots. also i had wiccan and pagan friends that could predict events and change the weather. yet i believe in magic also since i can feel it inside me and around me. life and death themselves are miracles as is simply watching a tree start life as a sprout than grow into a majestic oak that could live thousands of years. a greater energy exists i guess whether one chooses to call it science or magic is up to the individual.

The scientists must use their minds, maybe magic, to find their discoveries, in some way or another...... Maybe o_o, they may not know it

maybe trance...all i know is there is something there that works behind the scenes. to me it's like a sentinent energy..it has both feminine and masculine aspects and can take on many forms..still in it's truest form it is the cycle of life, growth, evolution, death and rebirth. of course that is just my opinion maybe we are just gi-joes and barbies being played with by giant children..lol.

OMG! I dun wanna get my boby limbs ripped off o.o. It's true, there must really be some type of power pushing us off to other desinations, with our minds maybe..
