The number of threads that appear in New Posts has been changed from 25 to 40.

We thought it would be for the best since these days we're getting 100+ new threads per day.

Indeed, is it possible for us to get an even greater number we could customize under options?

you can change that yourself. I believe it's in the options part of the user cp. I've got mine set to 30.
