Dear Edward,
After carefully reading and discussing your poem, our Selection Committee gas certified your poem as a semi-finalist in our International Open Poetry Contest.
it says a lot more but I dont feel like typing it, got this in the mail today, also, my poem will be on a full page by itself in an upcoming poetry book called Eternal Portaits
the poem that they are talking about is "But Before You Go, Won't You Stay?"
Im pretty happy about this :D

I know, I know.
I got a letter similar to this in the mail about a month ago. I was supposed to respond and such, but I forgot, so yeah ... No poem of mine in there, but that's okay.
I'm proud of ya, Laggy. You deserve it. :)

Well, at least the International Library of Poetry gives people a chance to be published poets. I have gotten several letters from them for a poem I sent in back in 2003. They had wanted to publish it in Eternal Potraits and Best Poets and Poems of 2003 and had gotten a certificate for Editor's Choice. I didn't like my poem, so I denied permission to publish it. It might have looked like a good poem to them, but I saw mistakes in it in what I was going for.
Anyways, this thread isn't about me, so I have stop going off on tangents.
Good job and congrats.
I missed this thread. I'm very porud of you, homie.
