Favorite 2D Fighting Games

The best 2D fighting games are marvel vs. capcom 2, capcom vs snk 2, guilty gear XX, and king of fighters 99. I'm sure there will be some disagreements there.....

I like marvel vs. capcom 2. I also like the Guilty Gear that is for playstation 2(is it XX?)

There are 2 for PS2. I love the street fighter series, they just pwn. I have yet to play guilty gear, but I really wana play Guilty Gear X2.

street fighter alpha 3 was sheer perfection. i also loved dark stalkers 3 vampire savior...it had all the old characters plus bonnie hood,morrigan's sister lilith,and the imensely cool and darkly suave jedeh..

it's a shame it didn't get a US arcade release...

CvS2 is another of the best 2D fighters... I never have been a huge fan of KoF and the other SNK games though.

well her full name is baby bonnie hood vyers..and the u.s. did get a release of vampire savior they just changed the title...it was for the ps1...they should really do a 2d dark stalkers for the ps3 with graphics akin to guilty gear x2.

I know it got a console release... I said US Arcade release. Baby Bonne Hood huh... meh.. I'll just call her B.B. Hood like I always do. That doesn't take as much effort to say.
