Anyone here ever listened to Nightwish? I just recieved a copy of the album "Once" earlier today, and it has recieved quite a workout in my CD player. I love em.

you'd know if you had. If the term 'opera metal' rings a bell you've heard them.

anyway... I think Oceanborn is their best album... with Stargazers and Gethstamine being the best two songs on it.

Oh god I love this band so much!! I really love their music. I haven't heard all of their stuff but what I have heard I've been blown away.

Yes, I'm glad to see that some others here like Nightwish, lol. I dunno what it is, but all their songs seem to have a very powerful sound, which is my main reason for liking them.

lol, like I've said. when it comes to music like this you can always just assume that I either listen to them or have heard of them. :P

Oh yeah, Nightwish is great. I especially love Phantom of the Opera.
