well over half of the bands I listen to are underground bands, some of which are local/regional... I've never really been into mainstream music.

and, I'm from the same city that Evanescence is.. and I didn't care for them when they were just a local band..

Noes, Evanescence arent that bad. Its not their fault that theyre overrated. I like My Immortal a lot. XBox and Halo is waaay overrated.

i agree w/ your list totally. evanwhatever really is overrated though. no talented musicians in that group. she's a fine singer, but good female vocalists are a dime a dozen.

Linkin park is the most overrated if you ask me. they're the most popular band in the world, and again, no talent. Godsmack is another one like that.
