What name do you use when you play rpg games
I use jethro obviously

If they don't already have a default name, I'll use Manda for females and... I'm kinda stuck with males. I just got lucky with Suikoden II because the main hero's name was found out to be Riou. I would think up unique names if I could stick to them, but I'm indecisive.

I normally use the default names...but the main character I might change to "Chubbs"

I use Lancet for the hero, and Krisst for the heroine. Always. 100%

If it doesnt allow 6 letters...then..John and Kris.

If they don't have a default name...I usually just name them after people I know or mythology or I get really creative and start slapping letters together until I see what i like

When i first played FF6 on the SNES I got to Locke and could'nt think of a good name...so I thought for a long time..then I though about my last name (Grubbs is my last name)...and Chubbs just came to be cause I was once upon chubby...

Thats what I used to do, until I came up with the current list of names I use.

The only time I ever change them is when I want to name a character in particular after myself... or give them really funny names.

What do you do in games like Disgaea and other strategy RPGs where you have an army to name? Or do you just rely mostly on the story characters you're given?

I usually give them serious names the first time... and something funny the other times. Just like I do with characters.

I usually use the default names especially on a first play through the game. Then I may make it my name or a name of a character from another video game or anime in a 2nd run through the game.

Heroine: Yvl. Always Yvl.

i say i use Default names for characters... if its a game where you can make your own character then i use a different name obviously and i like to use Matsume
