In the elf town, there is a reference to Link,
I am pretty sure it was added cause I have never seen it before, there are 3 gravestones and the one all the way left says “Here lies Link” the others just says "you see a gravestone" or somthing
anyone else see this?

lol, on the PS1 version I liked FF2 and didnt play FF1 all the way through, on GBA its the other way around and I will beat FF1, but probably not FF2
(until now I liked the NES FF! better then anything else, so I didnt like it on PS1, but its great on GBA)

In FF1 nes, the gravestone said 'Here lies Endrick' to make a stab at Enix by saying that FF was better than Dragon Warrior. Kind of subtle competition back in the day, but since Square and Enix merged i guess they decided to change it.

yup, and in FF1 for PS1 I hear that it says both Endrick and Link. IDK though, I should play FF1 on PS1... I have it...
but why did they take Endricks name out this time, if it was on both the other ones?

I dunno... it would have been even cooler if they would have used one of the later FF characters' names on one of the gravestones. I'm not sure that it says Endrick on Origins, but there are two or three towns with readable gravestones, so i may have just missed it.

FF1 was the first, it would be dumb for them to put someone from a FF game that came after FF1 on the grave. :1blackm

doh! I forgot about that part... playing FF3j confused me because of the 'light warriors' references, lol.

nah, but still, FF1 on GBA is the best FF1 now, for greatness I rank it like this (best first)
FF1 GBS, FF1 NES, FF1 PS1
