MGS: The Twin Snakes...the remake of the PS1 game Metal Gear Solid...was excellent. With amazing graphics, sound, gameplay, audio, everything, it earned its score of 9/10 from me.

A few of the gripes i had was the fact that it can get a littel choppy at times. Although it mostly happens in cutscenes where it deosnt affect much, it once in a while ocurs during a battle. It isnt enough to make you lose though (unless its extreme mode..)

Other than that, it was fun. The boss battles were well done, especially Psycho Mantis, who they boviously put a lot of effort into. Regular battles were fun too, and they incorporated many of MGS2 (for PS2)'s features and equipment into it, such as the M9 tranquilizer gun (for non-lethal weaponry), the 'books', for guard distraction, and the all-important dog tags.

Thats right, in MGS: TS, you can collect dogs tags again. There arent as many as in MGS2 however, nor are they in such a large quantity either. There are 6 'special' tags in this one though, that you must collect from special targets. These are the 5 i've found:
-Meryl Silverburg
-Psycho Mantis
-Sniper Wolf
-Vulcan Raven
-Liquid Snake
I provided that list so that anyone who plays this knows what special tags to look out for, in the intrest of preventing having to do a difficulty level over again.

all in all, it was a superb shooter for the gamecube, and one any fan of the genre should most definitely get.
