Pagans Banished From Australian Pub

SYDNEY, Australia -- You expect a few spills in a bar -- but not spells.

An Australian pub owner has given a group of pagans the boot for casting spells in his joint. Tony Green owns the Greenwood Hotel in Sydney. He said the PaganPages would come to his place once a month and even bring a small cauldron with them. According to Green, other drinkers accused the pagans of casting spells.

But Suzanne Maxim, the pagans' organizer, said they weren't practicing any magic, black or otherwise, in the bar.

Serves them right. Luckily the ACLU doesn't practice in Australia.

I'm open to almost everything... but if it was my bar and it was disturbing my customers they'd be gone.

Lol, yeah. You should have up a sign that says "Proprioter reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, and to eject anyone without reason."

I've just been to a lot of them. I have my Flying Saucer and the Underground Pub though... I'm mainly in those.

yeah we all do know aussies dont we :)

it also depends on the place, because most pubs here also double as a hotel where ppl stay so you dont neccessarilty want trouble when you have guests, it all goes down to the rep system. Guests complain to friends, friends to their friends and so on so forth, you lose customers. Simple really.
