This was a dialogue me and a partner did for German class. Just thought it might be interesting. (English translations are in parenthesies. They are not EXACT translations, but rather what the phrase would be in english.)

Haben Sie ein Hund? (Do you have a dog?)

Ja, ich habe ein Hund. (Yes, I have a dog.)



Was ist seine name? (What is its name?)

Seine name ist Penny. *Its name is Penny.)



Haben sie eine Katze? (Do you have a cat?)

Nein, ich habe kein Katze. (no, I do not have a cat.)



Wo arbeiten Sie? (Where do you work?)



Ich arbeite fur das CIA. (I work for the CIA.)



Was machen Sie? (What do you do?)

Ich töte Kommunisten (I kill Communists.)



Haben Sie kinder? (Do you have kids?)

Nein, ich habe kein Kinder. (No, I do not have kids.)



Was sind Sie hobby? (What is your hobby?)

Mein hobby ist Schlaf. (My hobby is sleep.)



Warum? (Why?)

Es ist spass, sehr spass! (It is fun, very fun!)



Was sprechen Sie? (What do you speak?)

Ich spreche Englisch und Deutsch. (I speak Englkish and German.)



Sind Sie sauber oder schmutzig? (Are you clean or dirty?)

Ich bin sehr sauber. Ich bin nicht schmutzig. (I am very clean. I am not dirty.)



Ist Wien interessanter als DelwareCounty? (Is Vienna more interesting than Delaware County?)

Ja, es ist sehr interessant. Delaware County ist nicht interessant. (Yes, it is very interesting. Delaware County is not interesting.)



Wo wohnen Sie? (Where do you live?)

Ich wohne in Wayne. (I live in Wayne.)



Wo wohlen Sie wohnen? (Where would you like to live?)

Ich mochte in Australien wohnen. (I would like to live in Australia.)
