Telemarketers Pay Consumers To Listen
Consumers Can Sign Up At Adnoodle.com

SAN ANTONIO -- Like millions of consumers, Colleen Nelson of San Antonio has three words for telemarketers -- do not call.
But Nelson is not hanging up on telemarketers anymore. In fact, she wants them to call her.
She now listens to advertisers' sales pitches after she signed on with adnoodle.com (http://www.adnoodle.com/).
Advertisers choose which adnoodle members to call. Those members can decline the call if they're busy, and they are asked a question at the end of the call to make sure they listened.
They also decide how much their time is worth. Nelson gets paid $1 a minute.
"I'm looking for ways I can stay home with my children and make a little extra Chuck E. Cheese money," Nelson said. "I thought I'd never get them to stop calling, so now I'm saying 'OK, go ahead and call.'"
