I think it'll be pretty close... but I'm confident in the DS. If Nintendo can do anything right these days it's in the handheld arena.

I'm probably going to end up with both but I'm waiting till they get some games that I want to play. I don't think that either will beat the other, thay both will have a place in the handheld world.

In all, I'm not sure. So far...The only reason I'd bend is because of the price but that don't count. So I'm not really sure, though I am totally loving the DS, it's so much fun! I'll actually have to wait for the PSP to be released before I can make up my mind properly.

I believe the PSP will come out on top. In my opinion, it is better in every way, Sony did a better job of creating the next-gen handheld. You can say Nintendo has always been the king of that type of console, but only because no major contenders ever tried. The DS's second screen is always used poorly, in the form of a map or something like that for the game, and that was it's main feature. PSP for teh win.

well... now that I've played several games on the DS my eye is fixed on the PSP. I'm thinking it'll come out on top.
It probably will. DS has definetely been off to a bad start, I can't really name any games that I've liked enought to actually spend money on.

the only two that are worthwhile for the DS imo is Mario 64 and Metroid Prime: Hunters.
Well, seeing as how I beat Mario 64 about 5 times already, I'm kinda bored of that. Know what game looks fun? Warioware: Touched! Looks pretty damn funny.

I got a DS and it's really fun. The Mario DS is awesome! You get to play as Yoshi ^_^ And lotsa other Mario peoples! And the levels are different, too >.> so unless you've played it, don't say it's lame, it's really quite fun. And I couldn't stand Mario 64...So there's gotta be something special there.
I like the look of the PSP but I was looking through some games for it...And to be honest =/ the choice of games is equally as bad as the DS, in my opinion anyways but more will be out by the time I get my hands on one. At least the DS is affordable. The PSP is a major rip off...You guys get it cheaper than we do here...What I'd pay for it here is equal to about $900 over there >.< It's so stupidly expensive!! For any normal person to afford one, they have to wait until the price comes down. I don't doubt for a second that it isn't worth it but for the games you can select at the moment, it really isn't even worth looking at for me. I won't be able to see one for like...A year =/ Well, a year and half AFTER it's come out, it doesn't come out for like two months here. -.-;;
I'd say they're both pretty damn good but as always Playstationinuss will come out in the lead! Come on, is there really any need for this thread? You may as well call it "Playstationy goodnuss!" >.> Cos we all know that good-ol' Sony won't let us down!
The best console that Nintendo ever released was the SNES. They haven't done so good since then, I don't think. Sony and their Playstationinuss will always fight it's way to the top! We all know that ^_^
I have played, and I played it out.
PSP, Ridge Racer and MGS Ac!d look awesome and it has some really cool features.

As far as games go, the PSP doesn't really ahve anything that shouts "Buy me! I'm uber!", which i guess is fine, because I bought mine solely to listen to MP3s and to play Emulators.
I personally like DS alot. I already have 4 games for it(5 if you count me getting Bomberman later today ^_^). I haven't played PSP yet but I am(Maybe) getting one for my birthday in like 20 days, so cool.

And thats why I'll be buying one when I get the money.

All the games on the PSP cost the same amount as a game on the PS2 or the Xbox. Plus, the majority of the games are just watered down versions of games already on the PS2. The DS, on the other hand, is a very creative and original handheld gaming system. Besides, we all know Nintendo has had the market cornered, when it comes to handheld gaming systems, for a very long time now. No matter what other handhelds there are, they always seem to come out on top.
im a fan of PS and always will be so i just gotta go with PSP, ive played it and watched movies n such... and its just pretty good no matter... DS isnt all that good with the controls and the split screen action thing is just not needed... they couldve done so much better in opinion and the DS doesnt have 'uber' games either... but it doesnt matter because handheld systems are a waste anywayz, gamings for relaxing and stuff... and if you REALLY need to play on the road you can take the ps2 and hook it up to wherever you are hehe

lol the psp cause it is on top lolYou mean by the poll, right? Cuz sales wise DS is #1.
I played PSP the other day and wouldn't you know it? I wasn't impressed...
DS is great. You can't go against Nintendo when it comes to portable gaming.

i agree with Cherbium i've played dynasty warriors fer PSP its mostly the same as the PS2 version but on a much smaller screen and i can play it when ever although if you have PS2 i see no reason in buying the PSP cause you can get the same games for possibly a lesser price
