What is you favorite Wise Man from Star Ocean 2?

Mine is either Berle, or Indaelecio. Both were good, but Indaelecio and his evil were the best....

Yeah, but you get to see more of Berle and Marsilio than the others. Berle you fight at Eluria Tower, and Marsilio kills you during your first invasion of Fienal =/

I havnt got far enough to meet any of them except for at the end of disc 1. I'm still in the trial of intelligence :(

yes he was a pansy but all of the ten wise men were pansys bar indalecio. The way i see it Indalecio did the least of them all since he was the head honcho, all he did in that game was speak once then stand atop the tower for the rest of the game before you went up and spanked him. Cyril on the other hand assumed command over the 10 wise men and was plotting to overthrow Indalecio, he was the evil one not indalecio, and thus he was the better one.

Yeah, but Indaelecio plotted the destruction of the Universe, and found a damn near perfect way to do it too. That's pretty good.

plotted, you can plot all you want but if all you do is plot then all you do is get recognition for being a thinker and a pansy for letting others do your work, then after your minions are gone you become the uber bitch, destined to suck ass for the rest of the game.
Granted he wasnt that easy of a pushover but he was a pushover none the less, reaosn why his 'limiter off' was included as well as the other side bosses. Heck reason in general why there are side bosses in games nowadays, to make the last boss seem like a walk in the park, 90% of the time that last boss is a walk in the park.

Yeah, but Indaelecio didnt just plot. He constructed a way to destroy the entire universe, and came within an inch of successfully doing it too. Even the good guys couldnt COMPLETLY stop his plans, thats how perfect they were. Indaelecio did much more than just 'plot'.

And as for the limiter thing, the limiterwas a massive restraint on his powers. You could defeat him at Lv80 with it on. But, when it is taken off, you fight the "True" Indaelecio, whom is difficult even at Lv255. That is the "true" form of him, and that shows you just how great his power is. He definitely had the skills to pay the bills, and he came extremly close to payin em.

But think about it. He set it so the Crest would activate upon his death. He said that his mission in life, his reason for being, was to destroy the universe. Thus, if upon his death, the universe would've been destroyed, then his reason for living then is to die.

After getting to Indalecio, I say Cyril was the best. he looked the coolest, and come on, they were ALL teh pansy ghey bar Decus and Vesper and Indalecio. The only reason Decus and Vesper were hard anyway was because there were two of 'em.

Indalecio is the best though. Cyril was ok, but Indy is cooler, lol. Especially Ultimate Indy. You need to be at least Lv200 to stand a chance...

yeah but N, J and R are easy because they dont do **** to you. I walked out of that battle without reviving anyone and all my chars had 7000+HP .
