If someone wrongs me, then by god, i'll wrong them right back! with the state of the US's judicial system, you cant depend on them for justice. Hell, they'll probly find some way to make you pay the criminal.

well technically it should be scratch for an eye, or dirty look for both eyes...in fact why not just interpret everything as hostile then kill everyone you want to and claim it as revenge for dirty looks.

My strong sense of mistrust for the 'system' goes way back, doc. In school, i was constantly bullied, teased, etc by the other kids, and teachers never did anything about it. In order to survive, i had to take matters into my own hands. I gave bullies the 3 Bs: Black eye, bloody nose and a busted tooth. Not only did it get them to stop, at least temporarily, but i also got suspended, thus rescuing me from the hell that school was for a few days. Now, keep in mind, this was before teachers, parents, hell, communities were actively against bullying, and tried to stop it. This was before things like the columbine shooting caused awareness. This WAS when teachers didnt give a flying **** about what happened. And i was always blamed, regardless, because, since i had ADHD, i was labeled as "easy scapegoat" for anything i was involved in.

Lancet, I've experianced times when my friend bites me, and when she pulls my hair, etc. I admit, the aid in my class made me write her up. I have done it like....what....4 times? Each time, there was nothing done. She still does it! It gets annoying, but I still want to be her friend. It's pretty true, teachers don't do anything at times like this.

Thats true, in today's society, those in authority positions rarely care about stuff like that until it either becomes worse (ie you hit her or something for doing it, and they punish you) and then they blame you and say "Why didnt you tell someone then?" even though thats what you were doing., or until they themselves feel endangered by it..

The "system" sucks, and i really hope someone brings it down someday >_<

See, there are those who woudl say that revenge is wrong, and some that would say it is right. All actionas have a reaction, and if you worng someone, you sohuld expect that reaction to be vengeance (a really cool word for revenge, i prefer it actually).

It does not batter, however, if it is wrong or right , ebcause there is the simple fact that it exists, adn because of that, what matters is how we react to it.

i personally do not seek vengeance for tihngs against myself. However, if someone wrongs someone i am close to and care for, the situation changes.

The quesiton is not 'is revenge worng.' it is 'how do you respond to the actions of others.'
