Square-Enix vs. Konami

I'm voting for Square-Enix, simply because I've played more games by Square than I have from Konami, even though the qualities were about equal for each.

I like them both. Squarenix make great games. While Konami makes my all time favorite rpg series....Oh and Castlevania!

Squanix, because i have played next to no RPGs made by Konami. In fact i dont think ive played ANY RPGs made by Konami..

I consider Metal Gear Solid an RPG despite the fact that it's a stealth shooter because of it's highly sophisticated storyline, a game like that is a RPG. So I'm going to say Konami.

lol, doc, it isnt the storyline which makes an RPG, its the actual gameplay. MGS is definitely NOT an RPG...

nope direct from konami headquaters came the issue of localisation problems, the other parts had nothing to do with it as it was an executive decision.

As for Square enix, since they 'merged' i have yet to see a good game from either of them whereas enix had good games previously. So square = assholes for that.

and no konami will not release it and thats final because as yet i dont see it comming or even a news print about it in production. So it must be hush hush to not even have a rumour leaked about it.

I'm tied, so I said Pooglsnarf *giggles like a maniac* SquEnix has superiority in having the FF series, as well as other very good games and series. Meanwhile Konami has a wide variety of TYPES of games from racing to RPG, but they also have the Suiko series and they make all Yu-Gi-Oh games ^_^ So therefore they are tied.

I really don't know who to vote for i like FF,Suiko,Castlevania,MGS,and SO(still playing FMA)

Agree with Nabs. Konami decided NOT to release Suikoden 3 also so they can GET STUFFED!!!! Squarenix I voted, because they made SO3.

Some of you guys are missing the point here (and yeah it's an old topic so.. bleh), it's in terms of RPGs. Square-Enix wins by far mainly for just the sheer number they roll out. Konami has Suikoden and... what? Nothing coming to mind... Suikoden alone is not superior to Final Fantasy and Star Ocean IMO (yes there are other SE series and that's my point).

Being a lover of FF and suikoden I chose Square because of the fact they just now own rights to SO2 and SO3.
