Cooking w/ alcohol

Does anyone like food cooked w/ wine, or whiskey, or any other alcoholic beverage?

I don't, but thats because i hate alcohol >_<. I've had several dishes cooked w/ various wines and beers, but hated every last one.

Maybe it is also because most of those dishes are seafood... >_<_>_<

I usally like a pork roast soaked in a either a red wine or a white wine. Thats what our family does for our family gathering on New Years and Easter.

I've eaten Crown Royal cocktail weines and they were good. My brother made them.

i like swedish meatballs....well who knwo sif there is alcohla in there but my mom cooks them liek that...who knows if your sposed to but i eat lots of them :D

I don't mind. Some taste good if you use them, others taste bad. I prefer alcohol with shrimp or maybe BBQ.

i meant you drink the BBQ sauce and not use them on meat, food.
