anyone else here play it... besides me and Admiral DuGalle? if you do, what is your favorite race to use? mine is Protoss... just like every other person that plays on battle.net. If any of you play on battle.net I'm Tyr_Sigma there.

i could only borrow it off my mate so i cant play it on bnet since i dont have a copy, i actually liked the protoss' air, the zergs ground and the humans damn survivability. But ultimately massing cruisers on the protoss was the most fun i ever had so i'll go with protoss also.

I use Zerg. Sorry, but me = crappy AOHell = not good for battle.net (unless the game is small enough to work...), and if I bother to get myself a name there, it'll probably be Nereid.

yeah. that's one of the main things I do... except I throw in a few Arbiters so the cruisers will be cloaked and an observer so I can attack other cloaked units. I also like using the Dark Archons mind control ability.

Screw mind control...I make 1 of your units into 2 of mine with my Queens.

I like mind control more than the queens spawn broodling attack. With it you phisically take over a unit... preferably a worker.

instead of getting a suicidal thing you get a unit, i prefer the mind control too. + the protoss' armour and shield bonus gives them damn good defences, and the dark archons have a damn good attack to boot.

yeah, but there is a good thing about infested terrans. their attack power is huge.

maybe you're thinking about Archons. they have one of the highest attacks of any Protoss unit. The Dark Archons have feedback which is an area attack, but can sometimes backfire and get you killed. They also have Maelstrom which can be useful against large groups of zerg or terran... but as normal attacks go they're relatively weak.

it works a lot like ensnare and plague. it immobilizes organic units. it's mainly to be used against the zerg, since all of them classify as organic. Against protoss it only works against Zealots, Both Templars, and I think Dragoons. Against Terran it only works on Marines, Firebats, Medics, and Ghosts. I just use them for Mind Control, or If I have a lot of them I'll have them all use feedback.

heh, I like to attack with groups of Devourers, Guardians, Queens, and a bunch of excess Overlords carrying units around. The Guardians and Devourers have very obvious purposes, the Overlords drop off whatever ground units I want to bring in, and the Queens...well, at least one of them will go for the Command Center if I'm attacking the Terrans.

yeah.. you can obliterate a large force quickly with a guardian/devourer combo. when I use zerg I make a bunch of those, plus a few dozen hydralisks, and a bunch of Lurkers. Occaisonally I use Ultralisks, but they take up a lot of space. I wish there was a hack that let you go over 200........

and yeah when i go zerg i just amass zerglings early on and keep da pressure up i mean theres not many ppl that can rebuild/defend/attack/repair and micro at the same time.

I hardly ever use Terran... the only time I really do is when I've taken over a SCV with mind controll. then I work on a few nuclear strikes before I send in my Carrier fleet.

Ever see what happens when a tunnel pops up just a screenlength away from an enemy's base?
Units just keep pouring through, and they can't get to the tunnel to attack it BECAUSE of the large numbers of units going through. Even Ultralisks are ok at that point.

heh... i do terran rushes with marines all the time... and the medics have NO point at all, they are an annoyance... with the zerg... i build up 3 bases as fast as i can... and then rush with zerglings... protoss... i do a dragoon rush(these things can clear an enemy base in moments, if you know what you are doing) most of this i do with the god mode cheat activated... i dont play w/o it any more... so i forgot all the strategies i used to beat the game(s)

occaisonally I go into another players base in the beginning and build a few photon cannons. It's really devestating to them. I really don't like rush games. They're over too quick.

not to me... i rush the enemys closest to me(all i do is play killiong fields, all players being terran), ive played one of those games for 1and a half hours... and i rushed everybase early on

Stupid rushing wusses...you're just afraid of advanced units. I build mass defenses at the start, and if anybody wants to play me on Battle.Net, my name is Pooglesnarf.

that's why I said that I don't like rush games... and it's something that I occaisonally do. when everyone else is doing it, i usually do... because if you don't you're accused of back stabbing..... which is something that I hate..

I play it, though I never play RTS's online. I generally prefer Terran, but the Protoss Carriers are just fun to watch.

Back in the day I played this game like crazy online and offline. I owned with Zerg and I was always well above average with 'toss too. I was just about average with Terren. I really hated them.

I've never been much of a Terran player either... but I've been suprised by some players with them. I think the toss have better abilities though. Stasis Field>Lockdown

the protoss are beastly if you can survive for a long time because they are pretty vulnerable in the beginning of a match but once you build a well protected base the protoss carriers would be the main source of attack and defense
