Posts not getting through

There are some threads I've been repeatedly trying to post in, except my posts never get through. I was wondering if perhaps that server maintenance is finally going on or something. I'm just getting tired of copying my reply and trying to post it again 10 minutes after I click the post button and nothing happens. Any particular reason?

My internet has been otherwise fine. I'd have written it off as my own internet had the issue not been occuring with a few specific threads, namely the "do you think you're too critical of games" one and the EF member gallery (No Shave November is over)

Well, there's nothing on EF's side I know of that should be causing any problems. What happens when it won't post? Does it give an error of any kind? Does the "submit post" button hang? Does it reload the thread, but without your post?

Basically, I click the "post quick reply" button, and it says it's doing something, but it never finishes. I leave the computer on for the afternoon, come back, no progress. Copy my post just in case. Hit refresh, my post never made it. Paste and try again, same thing.

That sounds like a problem with your internet, browser, or computer, not EF. There's nothing I know of that could be causing it so consistently.

Yes. I tried Firefox awhile back and pages didn't load half the time, so I stick to IE.

All things considered, it might be my tower itself. I've been doing some gaming without a video card, which of course is putting a strain on my motherboard. My computer might finally be dying.
