Yes, they are top-of-the-line RPGs which can be a bitch to find >_>
If you're gonna play em all, start w/ 1. That way, you can load the data into 2, and then 3, to get extras in the games.

yeah start with S1 because they are intertwined stories. They're all great but I would recommend starting with the first one. They can be hard to find because they are in such high demand. I've seen the second one go on ebay for over $200..

S2 is rare, but it depends which one you prefer. Console or computer. Anyway, if you want to try out S1, ask Fly for the rom.

just keep a close watch on ebay and in used game stores. sometimes you'll find the games at a decent price, instead of the outlandish prices that they usually have.

ok would it be easier to find for PC or console? Hmm.. if i play it on emu i'll need to find a ntsc or pal graphics plugin. I'd much rather auctually own them myself...

I don't know a lot about rom, emu or PC games. But if you were to purchase an owned copy, for S1, it would be around $30. Maybe $25. For S2, it would be close to $60, being the cheapest. $S3 on the other hand is only $20 or so.

People have always been selling S1 for close to $30. S2 is an exception. I would know since I purchased my S2 on ebay for $61. Nonetheless, I'm a long user in Ebay, for over 2 years.

Or just rom it, silly boy. If only I know how to make copies of games on my PC...I can copy it and send it to Fly. :D

the site lists all suikoden game for 1 and 2. As you can see, 1 cost between 25-$38. It depends on the condition really. If it's new, it would most likely sell up to $50. I used to check ebay all the time.
I just checked my account. "Member since: Jul-25-99" Wow, that's over 5 freakin years. And i have 72 good feedback.

Used games aren't bad. If you want to spend more money then that's fine. But I see no reason to. They're just games. It's not as if you're a collector, and everything has to be perfect. Eventually, the game itself, mainly the booklet, will get worned out. A new S2 is close to $100, and I doubt you'll want to pay that much for it.

I am a collector, and none of my booklets are worn out.
and it is worth paying more for a new game, that way you make sure that the booklet isnt worn and the games arent in any way messed up.

The seller is responsible to tell you the details of the game. If it's worned out or not. And many collectors do NOT play the game. They just collect new games and never play them. But on the other hand, they also have a 2nd copy of it, this way they are able to play it. In other words, they do not play the new copy but plays their 2nd, probably a used copy. That's what a real collector is.
If you're poor, wanting to save money, then I see no reason why you would wish to get a new copy.
hm whatever. seems like only people like Cammy and Fly knows what i'm talking about.

that isnt what a collector is, thats what a game freak is, i want to OWN games, and have all in the series of the games i have or want, fly and cammy..and you.. just care about PLAYING the game, which makes me more of a collector then any of you just because i own them.

You own the games, blah blah blah. In other words, whether the game is used or new, you still OWN them. So getting used games isn't a bad thing. Game freak are those who replays the game many times.

same here. over half of my games are used... except for my NES and SNES games. Most of those are originals because I bought them when they were new.
Setzer... maybe you could try finding a local used game store. There are several in my area that will actually track down hard to find games for you.

I've seen places sell used copies of suikoden II for 34.95..It was only one time that I saw suikoden II for $200 on ebay becasue it was factory sealed and probably because of collectors who are willing to pay that much for the game. I'm not making this up. >_> lol Check toy stores that sell games too. Like KB toy stores or Toys R Us. We bought my mom a copy of Suikoden brand new for 20 bucks there.
