ff novels?

If you turn on ff7 and just leave it for awhile it'll show credits right? If you notice that near the end it says that the ff7 story is based on a novel. Does anyone here have this novel, and if so is it in english? Also, where did you get the book at?

I have no idea about the novel. I do know however that certain elements of the game were inspired by the movie BladeRunner. But I know nothing about the novel..lol

um...if it is bassed on a novel it isnt a true book like what we would think (thats what i hear) it was a japan only "short story" like somthing you'd see on sun dance or somthing...if you ever watch sun dance yopu know what i mean, BUT i hear that and i hear that there was nothing like it..just never know i guess

but whatever it is or isnt...its only in japan with about 100 other things that the usa doesnt know about :chuckle

i've heard that aswell, but i also hear that there was one about the basic story line of FF7, but im not sure rather thats true, and if so i dont even know if there in the same novel lol

I don't know about a novel, but I would sure love to write one. I always wanted to write a Final Fantasy novel or Suikoden novel that would be incredible, writing Yuber would rock, I wonder if i could actually write him?

I don't think it was based on a novel really... The storyline was written by Sakaguchi, It says it written in the credits. It would be very loosely based I expect.

it would be, and if there is one its in japan only, or we would know about it and i would have it, though...if there is one and i find anything on it, which i havnt been able to do yet (so if you find anything on it in search pease tell me) i will go to japan and get it.

Okay laggy when you go to japan, bring me back lots of suikoden stuff okay??? :D I can't wait for the story Kaffee:D I think they have suikoden novels..Ive seen one for suikoden III anyway. The only game square game that I'm sure about being loosely based off of a novel though is Parasite Eve.
