The graphics were top of the line back when it came out for the PSX. Anyway, yes, there's a Rival Schools 2. There's a Japanese "Rival Schools 2" for the PSX which is just like Rival Schools, and the "true" Rival Schools 2 for the Dreamcast called "Project Justice" The game rocks all kinds of hard. It's one of my favorite fighting games EVER.

Yes, they were. Both Rival Schools and Project Justice were released in the arcade. I know Rival Schools has an american arcade counterpart, but I'm not sure if Project Justice does. I just know of it in Japan. Project Justice IS in english on the Dreamcast, though. If you have a Dreamcast, I'd recommend either buying it or downloading the iso and burning it to a CD. It's worth it. (The Japanese version of both is better, though, since they have a very in-depth and very fun character creation system, all done while living out your days at school)

i had rival schools for the ps 1 and it was a special package deal where you got two versions of it in one package. a great game with smooth controls and interesting characters. it's not so easy to find now though.

Rival Schools is a great series, it's one of the only 3D fighters I've actually liked. Both did get American releases in the arcades, although Capcom of America practically raped the PSX and Dreamcast releases, taking out most of the extra stuff (there was supposed to be a board game-ish thing for Rival Schools and an RPG for Project Justice, I think, neither of which were in the American releases.)
