February is "Perform a major accomplishment in a game" month [Archive]

First off, this month is major accomplishment in a game month. This is fairly open to interpretation, but here are some examples:

Getting all unique jumps and birds in GTAIV before completing a mission
Completing 100% achievements in any game
Beating Uber Prinny Baal in a NIS game

Post with something you're thinking of. If there is low compliance, then we may have March count as a double month, since this is a lot to ask for a midget month.

Oh, and no doing something you've already done, that should be obvious.

So here's why you care:

I'm working on making a code-less, manually updating game for EF. Depending on your participation, you will gain points to spend in the game. What I'm thinking right now is sorta a grid-based map that you can take territory for yourself (and perhaps fight each other if I get some divine inspiration for a battle system), but I'm open to suggestions.

Participation in shitty game month to a reasonable extent was worth one point already. This and future months will be based more on your performance than mere participation.

Uber Prinny Baal? Dood, yeah, I've been playing Disgaea 2 again but... I'm only level 1000 (my two highest, 3rd highest being 220) and can't even find the pirates for their maps, can I call Tyrant Baal good enough? I still have about 17 dark world maps to go before I unlock Tyrant Baal, and a shitload of grinding,

The higher you aim, the more credit you get. Just Baal alone is enough to get some credit.

Protip: In the PSP version, pirates appear more frequently on different items, and Animal Pirates (monster weapon) are the rarest.

Assassins Creed 2? Not too fair considering all i have left is like finding half the feathers... but annoying none-the-less. Other than that... um all i got is Dragon Age and thats getting annoying as hell with the faulty im getting with the difficulty. >.<

But I don't really want to participate in this month because all your examples are related to video games and I don't consider those to be 'major accomplishments'.

I dunno, it kinda seems like "To get points for this you must sacrifice job and love for gaming" since let's face it, I never get all accomplishments in any games since I don't have the time to aim for total completition due to real life. I've got a future to plan and a woman to plan it with, so I can't slack off too too much, you know? I can take 10 mins here and 15 here between my busy day to post and make it look like I've been on all day, but in reality, I'm out job hunting quite a bit and well, I personally, wouldn't exactly be a very able participant.

But I'm not voting nay if others are interested, I'm just saying, I may not be an active participant.

I'd say gain level 1800 out of level 1678 me being now...But I doubt that'll happen. But ehh who knows. Its dfficult and a long struggle to even obtain 10 levels now at this high in sven co op. >_> i'd have to like play inv_frozen and inv_dojo every day at least two times a day if not more to make it to 1800 by the end of the month :S

Okay, I've been maining my PSP lately, but here goes

Disgaea 1 (PS2 version)) progress:

Finally beat the game for once (complete)

Disgaea 2 (PSP version) Progress:

Get Zetta/Prism Red/ Mid-Boss: Done
Get Priere/Marjoly/Gordon/Asagi etc: No progress
Manually Level someone to 1500: Done (Majin Hanako, god I love the DLC)
Defeat Tyrant Baal: Have yet to unlock him
Unlock LoC: Only missing 3 maps.
Get a r40 weapon: Will complete upon completion of "Unlock LoC"
PERFECT said r40 weapon: Fuck that shit

Out of 16, that's not bad. And they're all Floor 21+ pirates, so I can even hunt them in common items.

Zetta is unlocked via Dark World Maps. Priere and Marjoly require felonies, I believe 33 and 50 on a single character, respectively. My highest felony count is 18?

As for how I BEAT Zetta at (at the time) Level 800, when he's 2000, I have a strategy that abuses lift and throw that makes that fight so easy.

I hear that Animal pirates are rare, but I don't know about Jolly and Hunter. BUT! The Animal Pirates and Jolly pirates appear more often in certain items (Monster weapons and muscles, so I plan to take advantage of that.

Completed AC2 achievements. Currently going through DW6 Empires, a long way to go there and Dragon Age is complete almost, only need 1 playthrough to finish the endings n whatnots achievement not.

Other than that... i really dont got much else to "achieve" here. Other than i guess prestige 10 on MW2 the legit way.

Get all achievements n DW6E - almost there (playing through the last 2 scenarios and unlocking all wallpapers as I type this)

Unfortunately, my 360 is not online so I can't show proof.

Also, to prove that I can endure suffering, I'm playing as a custom character with Cloud's looks and Ma Chao's fighting style. Since I hate Cloud.

Pro Tip: A lot of the ability achievements can be gotten by just using them on the Mako x number of times.

Pkay, February is now over. Here's what I got done.

Disgaea 2 DHD: Defeated normal Prinny Baal solo with Asagi just to see if I could, but not Uber.

Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires: all achievemenbts, 1000/1000

.hack//G.U.: Using cheats, I played as characters other than Haseo whenever possible. Haseo's weapon change is overpowered. This was more balanced. But the game doesn't like it and I had to use Haseo a lot.

Eternal Sonata: Started playing again, in Encore Mode. Beat the first few bosses at enhanced stats and AI.

Tales of Symphonia: Got to Tethe'alla without a memory card!

Dissidia: Perfected my Cecil game. Extended EX build, frequent use of Proteus for mindgames. Slaughtering level 150s in the Blackjack course in the duel colliseum.
