Anyone here had it yet?

In my case, I believe it's a matter of "when" and not if...When it comes to catching it.

It's taking people down, one by one...In work. They've all recovered and have been back to work within 2 weeks of getting it.

I feel like it's closing in x.x

I go on Holiday in just 2 weeks and...I get sick EVERY year when we go away...so my family are taking bets that this year will be Swine Flu =/

Last year I got minor food poisoning...The year before that I had an allergic reaction to the washing powder that the camp sight washed the sheets in...I had to stay inside for like 3 days because I looked like I had a bad sunburn...I was bright red...
The year before that I actually got sunburn >.>;;;

So with all this going on...Everyone's like "You're gonna get Swine Flu, aren't you? And then we'll get it and be under house arrest for the entire holiday!"

So I'm praying that doesn't happen x.x

But yeah...Anyone here had it yet ;.;

I thought this whole Swine Flu thing was over and done with. Wow, show's how much I've been paying attention. I reckon if I was in any serious danger, I'd more than likely have it already since my mom works at the hospital and would somehow get me or my little sister contaminated. I don't think there has ever been a case in Plymouth, actually.

Yeah. They made a big deal out of it. At the moment, normal Flu is far more deadly than Swine Flue...It's just that they have no actual vaccinations for Swine Flu, like ones that can "cure it" and so on...So they're panicking.

It could go bad if someone like me got it. My dad and me both suffer from Asthma...And since it actually targets your lungs and stuff...The two of us might end up being the rare case of 2 week sickies...But I'm not worried because I still think that most of it has been blown out of all proportion.
I just don't want it.

A few other family members have had it and they say that it feels worse than normal Flu...I think it's because of the aching and stuff.

My mother is like immune to every illness on the planet...And she's been near family members who've had it...And she's absolutely fine!
I'm astonished!

My mother gets sick about once every 3 years...I swear, she is super mum!

You.. haven't really been paying attention to the news have you. :P

July 29 some guy already in hospital in WA contracted piggy flu and kicked the bucket. Then again it is WA and as a fellow Vic we both know they're just not as hardy as we are, but yeah, either way it's still in the news, when they bother to report on the news instead of merely being lead ins to their current affairs garbage.

And no, I haven't contracted it, I don't plan to, although if I did it could go one of two ways;

Since rheumatoid arthritis is in effect the bodys own immune system attacking the joints and degrading them, I could either get so totally boned by it..

or

be so vastly superior to it since my immune system is in constant training to fuck shit up!

I'm hoping on the latter should that happen if only so that I can wear underwear outside of my pants and be justified in doing so for epic lols.

*facepalm*

Massachusetts. Plymouth, Massachusetts. As in... where the jolly ol' pilgrims landed.
