What do you think was the best simulation game ever?

I'm going with Simcity 2000 or Simcity 4. Both are excellent games, and its hard for me to pick. Simcity 4's graphics and depth are amazing, whereas Simcity2000 was the perfect blend of everything. Its tied betwen them for me.

Lol, i have a lot of trouble with getting my city started in SC4, but i am GOD at Sc2000

The Sims 2. I love it, despite the slow down and long loading times. Other than that . . . I have many fond memories of Sim City 2000 for Sega Saturn. I have it for PS1, too, but it just doesn't feel the same.

You should try SC2000 on a comp, lol. Its infinitely better than on a console.

I've done that. Nothing tops the relationship I had with the Saturn version, though. XB

I just got Sims 2 so, you know ^^.

I also freakin' love SC3000 for PC. I haven't actually played 2000... Strange, huh?

Oh, lol. Well...I don't like playing sim games on consoles. =/

Unfortunately, I had the DOS version of SC2000 for the comp. That version has almost no cheat codes and easter eggs, compared to the Windows and Mac versions. It didn't even have the uber cheat that unlocked tons of money, all rewards, and all the "high" level disasters (firestorm, flash flood, meltdown, oops!, etc)

And cracker, I never played Sc3000, lol. Now I play SC4 though.

i've played, and i guess, there really no thing as "beating" those games but i think at a certain point, when you cannot build anymroe and everyone is happy you could consider that beaten, which i've done to all of them basically. but i actually like Roller Coaster Tycoon better than simcity, cause, to put it straight, it was just a lot damn less complicated and that's nice to have every once in a while, but don't get my wrong SC4 was a totally awsome game....
