What god from the Pesedjet would you be...?
What makes you like such a god...?
The gods from Egypt perhaps more than others showed a society closest to humanity...
While the Gods of Greece stayed in their mountain and sexed up the place, or while the Norse dealt with matters of Ragnarok and above those of humanity;
Egypt's gods led an ever changing history in which they directly were effected by humanity and actively took a role within their own society...
Greece and Roman gods remained what they always were - their stories heralded before anyone...
But Egypt's story changed day by day -
with births and deaths of god..., separation, infighting, and even a war between faiths...
So - who do you see, who would you worship if born in that time...
A more human and intellectual Imhotep,
A vicious and cruel Set - god of foreigners and desert,
Like Horus, just and diligent...
Sobek, chaotic and evil...
I'm sure several would identify more with Anubis,
a cast away god - retired to being caretaker of souls...
protector of those abandoned...
