horrible

I do just about anything I can during the night, including exercising. I go through my normal routine, get tired, and go to sleep...otherwise I'd spend hours trying to fall asleep.
Recently I was told its not a good idea to workout before bed (for reasons unknown)...so does anyone know what those reasons could be?

morning since it'll get you more awake since you're already trying to work out.
And as why not to work out before bed...don't think it'd be a good idea to attempt night time work outs, because you're sorta, just shutting down for the night. why try to keep yourself more awake closer to the end time of the day? It'll either keep you awake / etc.

As long as you don't do it when you're tired. It depends if you're a night or morning person.

Why not when I'm tired? Thats the whole point...I'm a night person and getting to sleep, during the night, takes forever if I'm not tired.
So...does anyone knows any health risks for exercising before bed

Its easy to get waken up by leg cramps if you do that.
It's a terrible thing to happen.

Do it before you get tired, then. I don't know why, all I know is that my exercise machinery strongly advised not to do it when tired or digesting.

Oh, I knew about the digesting part...its the tired part that has me puzzled.

If you're tired, you're more likely to get injured or something like that.
Doing stuff while tired in general is usually a bad idea.

I work out myself at 8 pm sharp everyday, and I haven't experienced trouble so far. I basically do it because of the same reasons Horrible has. But for me, I'm not really doing it right before I go to bed, I do my shit throughout 8, cool down and relax through 9, and be in bed by 10 (on school days). So when I'm working out, its not like I'm nodding off when I do anything. That's probably what people are meaning by that, because if your doing any lifting you need to be absolutely focused, and if that focus breaks at any time when you're actually lifting the weights up, then that shit will come crashing down right on you and you'll seriously injure yourself. Like I almost busted both my kneecaps out doing leg benches at school because some idiot felt it necessary to tell me not to screw up, so I draw my attention away for 2 seconds and before I knew it, 500 pounds were pinning my knees next to my ears.

I worked out at like...8 P.M.
That was yeeeeeeeeeeeears ago though.
I always liked working out [when I did] in the morning, over afternoon.
