So, I finally got a new HD for my laptop and installed windows on it. Since its a new HD it doesn't have any drivers so I go to gateway's support site to download drivers...
Oh how fun, just entering the site makes my pc lag...and downloading? 0-100kb/sec (generally staying in the 20-60kb area)...downloading 17 2-190mb+ files (note plural) at 60kb/sec isn't fun. Also keep in mind that when I say 100kb/sec limit, I don't mean per file...I mean everyting from loading pages to downloading files, so now I have to spend several hours just to download all the drivers I need.
From this day forth I swear...that never shall I buy a prebuild pc EVER again. They are all outdated overclocked pieces of garbage (except sony...sony=my best fried)
