Best racing series?

Out of every racing series which ones tend to be your favs no matter which release or platform it ends up on?

Mine are all the Mario Kart games, all the Wangan games, all of the F-Zero games, and all of the Initial D games.

Well....sometimes. But Burnout is famous for its crashes. There's an entire mode or two devoted to making people crash and causing damage.

Mario Kart games were good and plus Crash Team Racing was fun, although I never played much of Crash Nitro Kart.

Nascar was ok from 2000 or earlier. Anymore they make it too complicated and you can do too much to the car to get it right or usually wrong.

Besides Micromachine racing? Definitely the first 2 mario kart games. the 2nd was epic. Purely epic.

I haven't played many, but my favorites have always been Mario Kart and Wipeout.

I tend to find racing games to be dull...Boring and a waste of my time but I have all the time in the world for anything in those series.

F-Zero, Mario Kart Need for Speed, and the old Top Gear games for the SNES, especially Top Gear 3000. Top Gear Rally for the N64 was okay but not that other one with the Tacomobile.

I'm not usually too much of a racer myself; Only Need for Speed game I ever actually beat start to Finish was Underground 2.

I don't generally like racing games all that much, the only racing game to hold my interest was Mario Kart.

Mario Kart and F-Zero. "Normal" racing games really aren't that interesting to me.

A once-off for me was Star Wars Pod Racer for N64.

Mario Kart, F-Zero, Burnout (3 and Paradise anyway, I didn't like Revenge or Dominator that much), Ridge Racer (the newer ones mainly), and Forza would be some of my favorites.

Oh. The one for the Wii...Is so, completely...RIGGED.

The items are just...Ugh...

"Hey! I'm right at the back! So there's a 100% chance I'll get a super, duper blue shell!"

And "Wow! I'm in the lead! You just know that all my items are gonna suck." >.>

That one is the "worst" in my opinion. The courses are fun and I love how you can steer like..Porperly...It's really good fun but that doesn't win it "Best MK Game evor!"
The item thing ruins a fair bit of fun for me.

Man I can't believe noone mentioned the SEGA GT SERIES! Or the Project Gotham series annnndddd Tokyo Xtreme Racers!!(I seen wangan up there ;) ) I'm a huge car fan (Been a mechanic for 6 years+ and have spent more then 4000 on my starions engine and it still isnt done!!) and I always loved these games cause they had random ass cars like my 88 starion and 82 camaro.
If I had to pick it would probably be the sega gt series because of the arcade aspect. I still play Sega GT 2002!

Talking about F-zero has anyone ever played F-zero AX? Arcade cabinet for F-zero that was on gamecube, amazing experience, somewhat motion sickness!

I have a Maximum Tune card with a 700hp Subaru Impreza WRX Sti [20stars] and I dunno how many battle stars. I used to play the game quite a bit.

I love japanese arcade racers though. I can talk about Wangan, Initial D, Battle Gear, Sega Rally, Ferarri F355, etc, all day long.
