converting format for PSP

so... i have tons of downloaded movies on my external hard drive and i wanted to move them to my psp so i could watch some movies and play some games while im working out in the field... but all my movies are in AVI formate and i cannot seem to get them into any other formate that will play on da psp. does anybody know how to either move them directly to the psp through the usb cable or any other easier way? thanks...

Try PSP Video Converter (http://www.pspvideo9.com/). I've seen many people use it for that purpose.

shank ya... im thinking that might work out for me. i tried some other program and it messed up my windows vista ... to hell with vista. i liked other operating systems way better. but yeah, ill let u know if that one worked. or maybe not if it messes up my comp. as well.
