why:
#1. im good at them.
#2. no matter how many times you replay a good RPG, its still just as good ^_^
#3. i get into the stories of a good RPG, i live it, and it makes me think that life could be better, but also worst.. so they help me think at times...

RPG's are my favorite

They are the best for me because I enjoy playing them. Most of the time they have excellent stories and deep character development. I enjoy most of the sidequest. RPG's for me tend to have high calibur soundtracks (which is a major plus) (other genres have good soundtracks too though.) I also like how most RPGs tend to be very long and I feel that I get my money's worth.

#1 - require on the spot tactics and processes

#3 - isnt stationary at any point
#4 - games can last anywhere from 3 mins to 3 hours in each you are constantly thinking, constantly moving constantly immersed
#5 - the challenge. Its not you a pubescent kid against a multibillionaire. Its you against another person. You lose you fail there is no game over.

They have the same character depth and plot depth as an RPG, but you spend less time in battle and less time running around doing useless upgrading or whatever. Some may enjoy doing that but I can't staaaaaaaaand it!

Lol, thats what i like about RPGs >_>

RPGs are my fav, since you can customize your characters /w equipment and abilities (why i especially like job systems), and can use my skill at strategy to its fullest.

Cause they are like a good novel and make me want to be apart of the world I'm exploring. When I'm feeling down I can always count on an RPG to pick me up. I've got nothing against action, shooters or any other genre, its just that RPG's are the only way I truely enjoy gaming.
