For those that already know about Chuck Palahniuk, you'd know what to expect from the book.
Snuff is the newest novella by Chuck Palahniuk. It is about porn. A porn world record. Porn priestess Cassie Wright is making history. She will be fucked by 600 men. Live. On camera. In one day. A snuff film for the ages.
The story is told from three perspectives, Mr. 72, Mr. 137, Mr. 600, all men who are signed on to fornicate with Ms. Wright. The final narrator is Sheila, the talent wrangler and associate of Cassie Wright. Her portions serve as ways to flesh out the character of Cassie.
In true Palahniuk style, there's plenty of dark humor mixed in with all the bleeding satire.
It's a short read, coming in at 195 pages. But it's an engrossing one. Not his best, but decent.
