Been on many forums where a guy (mostly always male unfortunately) has gotten a mod position and then pretty much immediately turned around and became the biggest asshole one could imagine under the guise of authority. Needless to say that forum is pretty much dead for a long time coming now. So yeah, strange people.

And a suikoden offshoot that was doomed to failure since I was handing code to the head guy he decided it'd be mad awesome to admin me and then pretty much I'd give him what he'd wanted, he'd throw in outdated code and piss me right off since I'd then had to remove it, put up with his bitching that it wouldn't work, devise a manual system which he ended up loathing because it involved opening photoshop and everyone who saw the work we were putting in to his knock downs effectively went "if you have no idea how to run a site then bye we're through."

Fast forward to today, sites dead his entire crew up and left.

FF I haven't actually been back to, but yeah it suffered from the same thing although that was mostly the admins "fault" in blaming the staff for problems where one particular staff member decided to quit being the fall guy and went awol causing a chain reaction within the higher ups to where you have the current set up of fractured sites from previous admins vying for position.

But yes, and I must say I haven't been that much of an asshole recently. :P
