what got you into it?

which anime really got you into the genre of cartoon? for me it was probably Transformers and Voltron. I used to watch those on tv when I was a kid.

probably something like Digimon. Pokemon and Digimon are the only anime shows that ever really got screened here. I know that they suck now lol. Also Characters in games probly made me like the type of drawing that is manga/anime.

I used to watch pokemon a lot when it was a growing fad. Then Yu-Gi-Oh, One Anime/Cartoon that first got me hooked was the old megaman, from there it spawned to a few more animeish shows, such as Power Stone and Knights of the Zodiac. I used to watch pokemon a lot when it was a growing fad. Then Yu-Gi-Oh. Within intervals of time I was hooked on Inu-Yasha, one of my all time faves, seeing as I can't get Gundam or Trigun, stuff like that.

lol most of the members who dont watch all that much will say that they got hooked on Inuyasha I bet, well for me I cant say Transformers *I love it and all, but I didnt know what anime was at that time* so Il go with the first real anime that I knew of, that would be Ranma 1/2, created by the same person that made Inuyasha, It surrpasses inuyasha on so many levels and is her most popular anime/manga series to date

Paul. No, it's not an Anime he's my friend. I always used to watch such animes as Sailor Moon, Samurai Pizza Cats, The Last Unicorn, etc, but I never knew they were animes. Then Paul showed me Dragonball Z and after it on YTv (at the time) came Escaflowne then Gundam Wing. I thought they were amazing ans realized they were different from normal cartoons, so I looked into them more and now I'm hooked!!! My current favs are DBZ and Inuyasha.

Adult Swim is what got me interested. I'm not that big of an anime fan, and i'm more of a passive anime viewer. Its good stuff, but my whole life is in no way wrapped around anime.
