Have you ever been sympathetic toward a boss and his cause? The only one I can think of is Luc in Suikoden III. During his final dialogue he says that he is simply trying to change the fate of the world so that it does not end up like the empty world he shows you at the end of the game..of course I dont agree with the methods he used to achieve this goal but there was a "method to his madness"

well i can put it like this...

i would gte a big kick out of playing a RPG, and at the end only finding that the bad guy wins and your party dies and thats how it was ment to be lol.. because dieing at the end of a boss that your ment to beat isnt fun, lol...

Jowy, from S2. His ideal is a lot similar to my ideal of a "perfect" country.

And, he fell the same way I probly would if I tried to do it, lol

"Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name.." [/stones] Um, not really. I need to play Suikoden 2 so bad, because EVERYONE said that Luca Blight was actually scary, as well extremely cruel, and the best Videogame villain ever, but they can still sympathise with him.. Actually, I just thought of one. Ghaleon. He wanted to do what HE thought was best for the world, but he couldn't see that it was not a good plan. Of course, he wanted to rule over Lunar, but I think really his main objective was to bring back someone like Althena, that could guide the people.

The one I can think of right off the top of my head is Chaos from Atelier Iris 2. He just wanted to save his sister but he was only being used by Palaxius. I really thought he was a kool character and not that bad of a guy.
