Best Character in Soul Calibur 2

Which character is your best overall. The one you play the best with. I know there was a favorite character thread but I want to know who you kick ass with.

My best character overall is Cassandra...alot of people don't use her but as Lathan told me, that is my advantage. I actualy didn't like her at first and I used Taki and Talim alot but I don't know I really picked Cassandra up. She has a couple of really good moves that I like.

hmm... I'd have to say that my best overall would be a tossup between Nightmare and Cervantes. I'm still avidly practicing with Taki, Voldo, Ivy, and Yunsung but Nightmare is the character that I use in tournaments and Cervantes is one of the player neglected characters that I'm developing now...

Taki. I've learnt a lot of those moves that set up other moves, so I can often plan what to do, and its never very repetitive. Following Taki it would probably be Talim or Cervantes.

Maxi takes a little extra effort to learn because you have to master the flow of his stance changes, which is something that very few maxi players actually do.

hmmm. unlike most fighters soul calibur had well balanced characters. even slow brutes like astaroth can be effective if used properly. still for overall story line and butt kicking i like kilik and taki. taki is hard to use but once you perfect her stealth tecniques you can own.

eh.... it's kind of like that with Taki. When you're playing better players you almost have to play the crazy game with her. Doing 'stealthy' stuff doens't work very well against people that know what they're doing. You have to be a relentless attacker with her. *poke *poke *poke *poke

Hmmm...Nightmare. With his second costume, Soul Edge (Growth) and the recently mastered Earth Divide, 'tis literally a massacre. And his Lower Night Stance + forward (X2) triangle move. Whilst getting some nice eye-candy at the same time.





(Look at the hair! The hair! 'Tis nice and (very) long. Looks nice and clean as well. And he has a blinking sword!).

True. Even I think she's hot. And shamefully, I love her posh accent. It's lovely when she says ''Squirm!'' before the actual fight. I wil master the uber-posh-totty accent one day. She also looks good in SC3.

the version without the growth is Siegfried. Soul Edge is basically controlling an empty suit of armor with the name Nightmare fixed to it.
