Third Final Fantasy VII Spinoff Planned?
Or things which are almost, but not quite, really sequels.

Square Enix may not be done with its campaign of Final Fantasy VII revivals, according to a few hints in the latest issue of V-Jump magazine. An article promoting the upcoming Advent Children DVD movie and the Before Crisis mobile phone RPG also includes an aside alluding to a third Final Fantasy VII spin-off.
Beneath the features on Advent Children and Before Crisis, there's a brief caption reading "Another intense title is part of the FFVII project!" Next to it, there's a small icon built around the distinctive silhouette of Vincent Valentine, the shadowy optional supporting character from Final Fantasy VII's later movements. According to the caption below, a title involving that character may be announced shortly.
Advent Children director Yoshinori Kitase has commented that he and character designer Tetsuya Nomura have considered other extensions of the Final Fantasy VII world beyond what's appearing in the two already-announced titles, including the possibility of a full-blown game sequel.
Though no such game has been announced, it's interesting to note that Sony Computer Entertainment's recent list of projects for its upcoming PSP handheld included an untitled game from Square Enix.
Of course, that game could just as likely be anything from a Driving Emotion Type-S sequel to another Dragon Quest Monsters cash-in. We'll watch out for more details in the near future, however.
