Hey...
Well, I've got a couple of people who are interested in pushing through a new RP game - but I was wondering if anyone else wanted to enter.
We'll still play afterworld when it gets back;
but for the time being I wanted to run another with the people actually interested in playing.
The format is this:
Similar to afterworld in the beggining - with persons using the first couple rounds to introduce themselves by their actions and behavior - and also to explore the world around them.
Then move on to meeting each other and actual story line.
Combat will occur through messenger/board - as will other interaction stuff ( this will probably be set to once a week, or when everyone can do it ).
The game world itself will be guided by myself - though the actions and decisions rest with the player. Certain things will also be determined by chance ( I'll say what happens, but I'll leave it to chance ). This will be rare though...
The game world is something I'd like to decide with the group that's playing, but I have a few which I'm concentrating, and I guess I'll throw them out there for you guys to give me feed back on...
Oriental Fantasy - Primarily set in warring states era style -
technology set around 12th to 16th century;
light magic included / deamons and classical mythology.
Most likely a Nihon/Han style setting with a specific backstory...
I guess you could compare it to journey to the east, 5 rings, or several anime...
( if you guys are interested - I'll ask if you guys want entirely fantasy, or for the world to mirror the real world at the time...)
European - Reinassance/Gothic;
Set at a cross of around late medieval and late gothic reinassance. ( Similar to warhammer fantasy )
Classical RP world - with the options again to mirror the real world or entirely fantasy...
Magic will also be accompanied by early fire-arms...
( I've also considered alternate world where things are not like the past world - exp, the world is covered in partial darkness...etc...)
