My military occupational speciality which is going to be my job in the marines for 4 years is actually kind of important. I'm an Maintenance Management specialist, what I do is whatever unit I go to, I make sure people/equipment are doing what needs to be done to make sure they're mission ready, I'm make sure the mechanics that are authorized level 1 maintenance aren't doing level 3 maintenance, making sure humvees are good to go and are operational. So its pretty important plus theres only 1,500 of us in the Marine Corps so the job promotes fast so I could be looking at Corporal in only 14 months.

Yeah a lot of lives depend on you. Afterall if you miss something during your inspection of the equipment it could mean death for that particular person or unit. You have to be extra careful that you check everything and then check it again.

Try your best man and try not to forget any of your training.

A good friend of mine did something similar to that in the Army for several years. Best of luck.

Thanks for all the support. I think its a pretty badass MOS, I didn't choose it, I went on a open Logistics contract and this is the job they gave me, its pretty cool though.
